What does this cost me?
KES 100, once, to send your description and be matched. That is the only thing you pay us, ever. Receiving proposals, comparing them and the first call with any lawyer are all included in it. After that you pay one person: the lawyer you choose to hire, at the fee written in their proposal, with no commission added by us.

What if I can’t afford a lawyer at all?
Quite possibly. Many matters are more affordable than people assume, and some, personal injury and employment claims especially, are taken on where the lawyer is only paid out of what they recover for you. Finding out costs KES 100 and takes minutes, which is a great deal cheaper than guessing.

I don’t know what my legal problem is called. Is that a problem?
No. It is the reason this exists. You do not need a single legal term. Write what happened the way you would tell a friend, and the intake works out the practice area, the jurisdiction and any deadline. Nobody will make you feel foolish for not knowing which kind of lawyer you needed.

Before a lawyer can send you anything we confirm their Law Society admission number, a current practising certificate, a clean disciplinary record and professional indemnity insurance. Verification repeats annually, and any complaint pauses an account pending review. Ask any of them for their admission number and you can check it against the roll yourself.
